The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, costing activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports.
- Monitor product costing, inventory valuation, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to ensure accuracy and support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.
- Lead and develop the accounting team while supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, inventory accounting, product costing, and COGS analysis.
- Background from a reputable public accounting firm (Big 4/Big 10) is an advantage.
- Good understanding of PSAK, taxation, and internal control frameworks.
- Experience working in a multinational manufacturing company is preferred.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Conversational Hokkien proficiency will be an advantage.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work on Saturdays (half-day).
